this is a snapshot blog of:

irreversible

Mural in Afrikaanderwijk, close to Kop van Zuid, Rotterdam. It’s hard to desribe the essence of this picture without ruining it. The word at the mural means ‘irreversible’. I guess the style of the drawing and the clothes of the boy refer to either a romantic nostalgia or a false sentiment about the local past.  The satellite dishes on the building are a sign of modern and global technologies but possibly also as the inhabitants longing for places where they came from.
