bacon street

House designed by and for William Russell of Pentagram Architects in Bacon street, London. This is a side street of gentrified Brick Lane in East London. The facade of  glass and galvanized steel plates brings a nice contrast with the yellow brick buildings around it. It shows that it’s not the materials or style, but rather the scale of the building that determines if it blends in well here.
