High tech facade of the Institute of the Arab World in Paris. The arab inspired motiffs consist of metal lens shells that gradually open and close depending on the amount of light. The floor height is remarkably low (the squares in the facade represent one floor). The building has been designed in the 1980’s by French architect Jean Nouvel.
