this is a snapshot blog of:

london town hall

London Town hall / City hall along the river Thames in London. The building and its premises have been designed by British architect Norman Foster. As the website of Foster & Partners mentions it is a symbol, ‘expressing the transparancy and accessibility of the democratic process’. Note my earlier post about Le Corbusier’s hand as a comparison of the bombastic language that great architects tend to use when it comes to rationalizing the design of governmental buildings. One critic mentioned, it is merely a camera-friendly visitor attraction.
