this is a snapshot blog of:

Kunsthal (art hall) in Rotterdam designed by Rem Koolhaas’ OMA and completed in 1992. A revolutionary scheme with the continuous exhibition space , the entrance at the heart of the building and a ramp as a public pathway penetrating the building and connecting the park on one side with the elevated road on the other. However the added arrows indicate that the entrances have not been designed very well. The large ‘shop window’ at the front gives a wonderful preview at the exhibitions but I would have liked if one could get a glimpse from the public ramp as well. Then the ramp would really become part of the continuous exhibition space and the entrance may have been less nondescript.
