Vitra stars

Concrete walls of the Vitra Conference Pavilion built in 1993, designed by Japanese architect Tadao Ando. One of the very few projects of Ando outside Japan. At the background is the white Vitra Design Museum designed by Frank O. Gehry. Other ‘starchitects’ on the Vitra premises include Zaha Hadid, Alvaro Siza and Herzog & De Meuron. It makes you wonder why they chose to put these names together.
