Siza Housing Project

Bouça Housing complex in Porto was designed by Álvaro Siza Vieira in the early 1970′s. It was designed and built as a social housing project for poor people. The lower houses have their sleeping rooms on the first floor and living room and entrance on the second, whereas the upper houses have their living room and entrance on the third floor and sleeping on the fourth. A wonderful friend’s mom lives in one of them so we could have a peek inside.
